Make-up musts for gorgeous photos. | Tips&Tricks.

Hi beautiful people, recently I've been going to a lot of events that I would like to remember for the rest of my life and that would mean having my picture taken in different lighting and scenes which can effect the way your make-up looks so I found these tips for picture perfect make-up that helped me look better in photo's than before with my make-up on and I thought that maybe these will help you too.
  1.  All natural. Always have make-up applied in natural light. This will be the best indicator of how it will look when photographed.
  2. Primary focus. Primmer is essential for keeping make-up intact. It kind of plays the role of base coat on a manicure. Oil-free versions are best and also sensitive skin-friendly.
  3. Lighten up. Avoid going too dark in your foundation shade. Have it professionally matched to your skin tone, and if it's for a special event, try and get it matched close to the date as possible.
  4. Matte is a must. For checks, stay away from shimmery powders. For eyelids, keep shimmer strictly on eye lids.
  5. Line up. When lining eyelids, start in the centre and work your way to the outer edge. Lining the entire lid will cause your eyes to look smaller.
  6. More is better. A camera flash will wash out colours, no matter what. Don't be scared off by a dramatic finished look. It won't photograph that way.
  7. Blend, blend, blend. The camera flash will highlight unblended edges, and unblended concealer will highlight fine lines.
  8. Say no to SPF. Even though SPF is really important in make-up for everyday use, for picture perfect make-up, primer and foundation should be SPF-free. Formula's containing sunscreen cast a ghost-like glow with the camera flash.
  9. Mellow yellow. To set make-up, choose a slightly yellow-er powder rather than translucent. Much like SPF formula's, translucent powders cast a white glow when photographed.
  10. Practice run. Don't let the day of the occasion be the first to try your products. Consultation and trial runs are essential to creating to perfect final look.
So here's the make-up musts I found online that helped me out a lot.
What make-up musts do you do for gorgeous photos?

7 ways to get rid or tame frizzy hair. | Tips&Tricks.

Hi everyone, here I've got 7 ways you can get rid or tame your frizzy hair. Just like you, who are reading this, I also have frizzy hair and these tips helped me tame my frizzy hair well.
  1. Blow dry on the cool setting instead of the hot setting.
  2. Use paper towels or a cotton t-shirt instead of a regular towel. This is because a towel will create a lot more friction with your hair and cause frizz.
  3. Squeeze your hair when you come out the shower to remove the water. Do not rub, as that will cause friction which leads to frizzy hair.
  4.  DIY anti-frizz mask; mix honey and yogurt together, then put that in your hair and leave it in for a few minutes and wash out, this will hopefully tame your frizzy hair.
  5. If you have curly/wavy hair don't brush it when your hair is dry, that will just leave you with a frizzy mess! Instead brush/comb it when its damp.
  6. Don't give your hair alcohol! Most hair products contain alcohol and this will make your hair dry and create even more frizzy hair.
  7. My favourite product to use is Argon Oil. I just pour a few drops into my hand and spread it out evenly through the ends of my hair with my fingers. This will repair and rejuvenate your hair leaving it shiny and smooth.
Theses are just some of the things I do to tame my frizzy hair and I hope it helped you with yours too! Thanks for reading and I'll see you next week for the next post.

25 Beauty Tips and Tricks. | Tips&Tricks.

Hi, beautiful people. Today I'm going to do 25 Beauty Tips and Tricks for you that I think could be useful and help you in the future.
  1. If you want a matte lipstick and you can't find an already matte lipstick in the colour you want, get a tissue and lay it over your lips. Then gently dab it so it touches the lipstick, apply translucent powder over the top with a brush and Bobs your uncle.
  2. Do you have gloopy nail polish? No need to fret, just simply place it in a bowl full of boiling water for 2 minutes and its back to normal!
  3. DON'T PUMP YOUR MASCARA WAND INTO THE TUBE. Most of you probably pump the mascara wand into the tube when applying it onto your lashes to get more product on the brush but this makes your mascara dry up quicker. What you should do is place the wand back in the tube carefully, twist it around, then take it out carefully again.
  4. Using dry shampoo at night will work better then applying it in the morning as it'll work into your hair better.
  5. If you cannot find your eye-liner or ran out, no worries. All you need is an angled brush that you apply your eye-liner with and your mascara.
  6. If you have a bronzer or blush that doesn't suit your skin colour or you think would be a nice lip colour, you can combine it with a clear lip balm/Vaseline by adding a little amount (you can add more to get the shade you want) of powder of your chose and the lip balm/Vaseline into a small container and mix it together.
  7. Apply baby power between coats of mascara to make your eyelashes look longer and thicker.
  8. If you have trouble putting false lashes on, cut them into 3 parts before sticking them on. This makes applying false lashes more easier and there will be less fiddling around with the glue. Also, you can use the end of a bobby pin to apply glue to the rim of the fake lashes.
  9. You can use dryer sheets to reduce frizz in your hair by gently rubbing your hair with it (after it's dry).
  10. To stop your lipstick from bleeding onto your cup, you can lick the part of the glass you are going to drink from just before you take a sip but you have to do it subtly, you also just want to add a little moisture to the side not drool all over it.
  11. For super soft feet, apply Vaseline to them before going to bed and slip on some socks.
  12. For the perfect smokey eye when you have no time or you can't do them, draw a hash tag on your outer eye area where the eye-shadow is usually placed with an eye-liner in the colour of your chose, then take a pencil brush and a blending brush and begin blending that baby away.
  13. Keep your nail polish bottles from drying shut by applying a thin layer of Vaseline on the neck of the bottle.
  14. If you run-out or don't have a highlighter, you can use a white shimmery eye-shadow that works just as well.
  15. If you're having trouble trying to find the hollows of your cheeks when contouring, place a pencil right below the hollows of your cheek and using a fluffy blending brush, apply the contour power and trace the pencil as a guide line. Then take a fluffy face brush and blend the harsh line away!
  16. For a safe and easy way to de-clump your mascara you can use a clean toothbrush and brush that across your lashes like you would when applying mascara.
  17. If your eye-liner usually runs down your face (which happens usually with oil-based eye-liners), apply face powder right underneath the eye-liner to create a barrier.
  18. If you have a mascara wand that you LOVE, once the mascara has finished, you can reuse the wand with any other mascaras you like.
  19. When you come out the shower, always pat your hair dry, not in a rubbing motion as that can break the ends of your hair.
  20. Lemon juice + Sun = Lighter hair. Cut a fresh lemon in half, juice it and run it through your hair using your fingers, then go in the sun.
  21. Inserting a hair clip underneath the top section of a ponytail can give it more volume.
  22. If you want your nail polish to match your eye-shadow, you can take some of the eye-shadow, mix it with clear nail polish and voila.
  23. For fuller lashes, be sure to put mascara on both sides of your lashes, finish with applying it on the front.
  24. One trick that I use all the time when I run out of make-up remover is using Vaseline. Just rub a bit of Vaseline on the make-up (I use it mainly around my eyes) and wipe it off with a normal tissue.
  25. Perfume can remove nail polish off your nails. I don't know when you'd use this but I thought its a nice little trick to keep in mind. Maybe when you're out and your nail polish start to chip and you only have perfume with you then this will come in handy.
I know some of you probably knew some of these tips already but some might not, I hope this helped. Thanks for reading!!

10 Skin Care Tips. | Tips&Tricks.

Hi everyone, today I'm giving you some skin care tips that I think are very important for all your beautiful faces.
  1. Do not wear make-up every single day. This is one tip everyone should know as you need to let your skin breathe. You also need to remove it every night as its when your cells will renew itself and keeping make-up on your skin will clog up pores.
  2. Ex-foliate your skin at least once a week. It'll makes your skin glow.
  3. Always moisturise, even if you have oily skin, don't be afraid my loved ones. I have combination skin and I only use to moisturise my face where it was dry but later on I found that it's really important to moisturise everywhere as I heard your face only produces oil when it's dry, so applying moisturiser to your skin will minimise that.
  4. Wear face masks. Every now and then its important to put on a face mask as it provides a deep nourishment to your skin. You can just make your own face masks at home. (DIY Face Masks)
  5. Its important to cleanse, tone and moisturise your skin. This is because your skin is the most abused by the environment and our lifestyles and this can leave your face with breakouts. No7 do a nice range of cleansers, toners and moisturisers that are affordable.
  6. To detoxify and help your skin breathe, open your pores by putting a warm towel over you face for a few minutes.
  7. Eat a Healthy diet! We all know eating healthy will make your skin look healthy but being the teenager I am, and some of you too, there's a chance that's not going to happen but this is really important as it'll keep your skin at its healthiest.
  8. Always apply moisturiser or make-up that has SPF in there, this will keep your skin from getting damaged by the sun and is the best way to keep skin youthful.
  9. Doing yoga can improve circulation. The boost of oxygen this gives is what leaves your skin with a lovely glow.
  10. Almonds are a healthy snack that will give you super skin that is plump and healthy as it contains omega-3 and vitamin E.
So here it is; 10 Skin Care Tips. I hope you all maybe learnt something from this as I think these are a few important things you should know.

DIY Natural Face Masks. | DIY

Hey all you beautiful people!
I'm just going to pretend that I didn't have a few months absence... okay maybe more than a few but I'm back and hopefully I'll be uploading blogs a lot more frequently now.

Having to look after your face can be a pain in the butt, especially if you have acne, or not. Face masks provide a deep nourishment to your skin. It's one of the most vital steps for your face care regime but most people neglect the whole idea as it must stay on your face for about 15 minutes. The mask doesn't need to consist of many ingredients, loads of great face masks have only one vital ingredient that makes all the difference.
  • Banana; the best all natural face mask. Mash up the banana into a smooth paste, then apply to your face, leave it on for 10-20 minutes then rinse off with cold water.
  • Yogurt; spread plain yogurt on your face and leave it on for 20 minutes, then wash off with luke-warm water.
  • For brightening your skin, you can use an egg and honey mixture. I don't actually use this face mask but my friend recommended this to me and said it worked for her and she loves it. You'll need one egg, which clears oil and shrinks pores. First you'll have to separate the egg white and yolk into different bowls and add 2 tablespoons of honey to the egg WHITE, not yolk as I've seen my friend get mixed up with this before... then whip it up! You can then apply it on your face, you could do this with a paint brush or any type of brush that's suitable for this because its easier to apply. Then let it to dry for 20 minutes. You'll now its dry when its sticky, then wash. You can then use the yolks after to moisturise your skin, but that's up to you.
  • For an ex-foliating peel, you have to apply an egg white wash onto your face, then press a thin tissue on your face and apply more egg wash on top, let it dry for 20 minutes. Then PEEL AWAY (which is the fun part).
  • Lemon face scrub; this is an anti-bacterial that brightens skin and tames oil. You'll need honey, that moisturises your skin and heals acne. Sugar, which is a gentle ex-foliate and, of course, the main ingredient; a lemon. First cut the lemon in half, coat it in honey, but not too much, maybe a teaspoon (when I do this I just estimate so I have no idea how much I exactly use when I do this) then top it off with some sugar.Yum... Then gently scrub away! Wash away once you're done and voila! You now have skin that's soft as a babies bottom.
